Biography
Linda has had 13 lessons since beginning in 2026 and has been learning piano.
A review:
Thank you Jason for helping me achieve one of my goals. I've wanted music in my life, in some fashion, for a very long time. I am 75 and decided its now or never so, I took the big step of buying a used piano and taking lessons with Jason and, after 4 months, I know I did the right thing. When we met, I asked Jason if he can teach an old dog new tricks and he said "certainly, and he really enjoys the older music students". So, here I am, jamming with Jason :-D specifically House of the Rising Sun, and it's a blast.
I leave my pride at home. I have no expectations but to have fun and release my inner joy. No pressure - just fun and croaking out a song - I can hardly believe it!
I walked in with my beginners music - not Row, Row, Row Your Boat but Beethovan's Fur Elise - and Jason did not discourage me - rather, he encouraged me. He is okay with me picking my own music and he is able to massage the music so that we can play what we love at a beginners level.
On a personal level, Jason is a bona fide professional but casual, supportive, respectful, warm and so, so encouraging. Of course, I feel like I never practice enough, but we both say "hey, I'm not going anywhere" - no pressure! Enjoy!
