Jenna Trousdale
Past Notes
December 10th, 2024
Jenna is unable to make it tonight.
November 26th, 2024
Tonight we added a new song, "Champagne Problems," and learned the F chord.
November 12th, 2024
Jenna had forgotten how to play the F# minor, so had been frustrated with practising. Her guitar was also a bit out of tune. I showed her how to tune with and without a tuner.
We then reviewed the chords for Wagon Wheel, and in playing them I realized they were the same (and in the same order) as the chords for All Too Well. We played through that one together.
We then went over Wagon Wheel before running out of time.

Jenna isn't feeling well today so won't be coming in.
October 15th, 2024
Jenna wanted to work on a song that she could sing along with without having to play the recording. She suggested Darius Rucker, Wagon Wheels.

In Jenna's lesson we reviewed Bad Blood and Shake It Off, then added Paper Rings and Delicate.
September 17th, 2024
We started out with going over Ready For It, and then added Bad Blood and Shake It Off, also by Taylor Swift.
I briefly demonstrated and explained how bar chords work, but it's a bit early for that yet... the F chord is one of those challenging chords that most students don't like, and that takes a while to learn.

We added A minor and C tonight, and played through them a few times. After that, we learned a song by Taylor Swift, called Ready For It?
September 3rd, 2024
Today we learned the parts of the guitar, and four chords: E minor, G, D, and A.
Here's a chord diagram in case you forget any fingerings.
