Tonight we reviewed the stuff we've been trying to learn the last few weeks.

I tried switching focus a few times to keep her attention (we did Go Tell It On The Mountain because she was singing it for me).

Rya tried for a while, but we had some trouble again. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to switch nights to when you can be here to keep her focused.

Either that, or maybe we should wait until she's a little older; we could apply the money for remaining lessons you've paid for to Harlee.

Rya came Wednesday in Harlee's spot.

THe first 15 minutes were pretty productive, but she said she was too tired to play anymore, and I couldn't get her to cooperate. :)

She's DARN cute tho! LOL

Rya was a tad distracted tonight, and I'm not sure how that much is my inexperience teaching kids so little. I tried to keep her attention, but she bored easily with the things I asked her to do.

We changed it up a bit, trying different things, doing two note chords, working on Jingle Bells, etc. But she was very tempted by all the things in my office - the train set, the drums, the other keyboards - lots of questions.

We'll try it for a couple more weeks to see if she gets into it more then re-evaluate.
